Newsletter for EA to Evaluate Alternatives for Revitalization

A Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) will be published in the Federal Register, and will initiate the formal scoping period for this project. This newsletter provides information on the purpose, need, and objectives of the proposed project to revitalize the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial; the scope of the EA, including impact topics to be considered; and the integration of the EA with requirements of section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.

To be most hepful to the planning process, the NPS requests that you provide comments within 30 days of the publication of the NOI. Before including your address, phone number, e-mail address, or other personal identifying information in your comment, you should be aware that your entire comment – including your personal identifying information – may be made publicly available at any time. While you can ask us in your comment to withhold your personal identifying information from public review, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.
