ROD - Final Environmental Impact Statement to Address the Presence of Wolves at Isle Royale National Park


The National Park Service (NPS) is pleased to announce the release of the Record of Decision for the Plan/EIS to Address the Presence of Wolves at Isle Royale National Park. The Record of Decision documents the decision, describes the selected alternative, and the environmentally preferable alternative, discusses the basis for the decision, and briefly describes public and agency involvement in the decision-making process. The non-impairment determination for the selected action, which is required by NPS Management Policies 2006, is also attached to the Record of Decision

This Record of Decision was signed by the Regional Director of the National Park Service's Midwest Region on June 7, 2018, completing this important planning effort for the park.
