DRAFT Exotic Plant Management Plan and Environmental Assessment for Consultation

This posting provides the DRAFT Heartland Exotic Plant Management Plan and Environmental Assessment in an accessible location for consultation purposes. American Indian tribes, federal, state, and local agencies, and park partners received a letter in December 2012 requesting that they review and comment on this draft as part of their continuing consultation with the National Park Service.

We will open a 30-day public review and comment period after this current consultation, probably after mid-January. That posting will clearly state that the document is available for public review and comment.

We invite tribes, agencies, and partners to continue consultation with the parks and the Exotic Plant Management Team, during the designated comment period. Thank you.
