Project Description

Install a free-use viewing scope at the picnic area for viewing wildlife. The scope will require the installation of a small concrete slab to secure the scope base. The concrete slab will serve as an anchor base for the scope. The concrete slab will be approximately 18" deep and 10' in diameter. This project proposes to install the scope in a previously disturbed area adjacent to the retaining wall along Post Bayou. The proposed location has been previously disturbed during construction and maintenance of the retaining wall. All or most of this area is comprised of fill dirt and does not contain culturally sensitive artifacts or features
