Cost-Benefit and Regulatory Flexibility Analyses: Proposed Revisions to Sport Hunting and Trapping Regulations in National Preserves in Alaska

The National Park Service has published a proposal to amend its regulations for hunting and trapping on national preserves in Alaska to establish better consistency with the state. The proposed rule would remove regulatory provisions issued in 2015 that prohibit certain hunting practices that are otherwise permitted by Alaska.

The NPS has determined that this rule will not have a significant economic effect on a substantial number of small entities under the Regulatory Flexibility Act (5 U.S.C. 601 et seq.).
