Proposed Quarry Lawn and River Walk Design
The City of Paterson and National Park Service have developed a proposed plan for the new Quarry Lawn and River Walk Park. The plan incorporates elements of the Allied Textile Printing (ATP) Site ruins, and highlights the quarry rock face. Many of the buildings in the project area are ruins and unable to be saved, however, some of the ruins will be incorporated into the design of the new park. Building 21 was the only building within the park area that had all four walls, but it may not be possible to save all of it. The documents attached explain the proposal in more depth along with the potential treatments for Building 21. Please provide comments by December 19 on how you think the project may negatively or positively impact the National Landmark District or the National Historical Park as shown on the attached map.
