Scholars Essays on National Significance


In October 2017, the National Park Service invited seven scholars and subject matter experts to a 1.5 day workshop to discuss the national significance of the Stonewall uprising. Following the workshop, the scholars wrote essays summarizing their thoughts on the significance of the uprising. Scholar bios and essays are provided below for your review.
