San Juan National Historic Site Proposes Fee Change


Superintendent Walter J. Chavez announces a proposed fee change for San Juan National Historic Site. The fee change is planned to go into effect on October 2, 2017. The park will complete the required civic engagement process to conduct several public meetings, issuing news releases and informing media, stakeholders and partners of the proposed change. The new proposed fee will be $7.00 to enter the fortifications of San Juan National Historic Site.

We invite the public to attend Public Meetings that will be conducted on October 4th and 5th, 2016 at Castillo San Cristobal Visitor Center at 5:30 pm. A 30-day public engagement period on the proposed fee increase begins today, Tuesday, October 4 to November 2, 2016. Comments will be accepted by U.S. Mail at: San Juan National Historic Site, Attention: Proposed Fee Increase 501 Calle Norzagarary, San Juan, Puerto Rico 00901.
