ABPP Interim Programmatic Agreement Amendment - Extension

An Interim Programmatic Agreement was signed in May 2015 that covers activities related to the ABPP Battlefield Land Acquisition Grants in ten states. The interim agreement required the ABPP to develop and implement a Nationwide PA in consultation with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP), the National Conference of State Historic Preservation Officers (NCSHPO), Indian tribes, and other interested parties by the end of 2015. Due to unanticipated circumstances this fall, the NPS ABPP was unable to execute a Nationwide PA by Dec. 31, 2015.

Pursuant to Stipulation XIII. AMENDMENTS of the IPA, the ABPP consulted with the ACHP, NCSHPO, and the Civil War Trust, as a Concurring Party, and amended the IPA in December 2015 to extend its duration for 6 more months until June 30, 2016. The NPS ABPP is committed to continuing its consultation on the development of the Nationwide PA in the new year.
