Intent to Rely on NEPA Document for East Yosemite Valley River Restoration


The NPS has applied for Clean Water Act section 401 water quality certification from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board for the East Yosemite Valley River Restoration Project. The issuance of this certification is subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The Water Board has determined that the EIS prepared by the NPS (the Merced River Plan) meets the requirements of CEQA. Accordingly, this notice is being circulated pursuant to section 15225 of the CEQA guidelines.
