Martin Van Buren NHS General Management Plan/Environmental Assessment


The Martin Van Buren NHS General Management Plan/Environmental Assessment includes a preferred alternative guiding future management of the park as well as background information about the park and the plan and an assessment of environmental impacts. The public is invited to provide comments about the plan and its recommended actions.

Public comments on he Martin Van Buren NHS General Management Plan/Environmental Assessment can be submitted by mail to Site Manager Justin Monetti, Martin Van Buren National Historic Site, 1013 Old Post Road, Kinderhook, NY 12106. Comments can be submitted electronically through the National Park Service Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC) website at http://parkplanning.nps.gov. The deadline for comments is October 5, 2015.
