Biscayne National Park Fishery Management Plan Record of Decision

The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), has prepared this "Record of Decision" (ROD) on the Final Fishery Management Plan / Environmental Impact Statement for Biscayne National Park (park). This record of decision includes a background description of the project, a statement of the decision made, a listing of mitigation measures to minimize environmental harm, a synopsis of other alternatives considered, the bases for decision, a description of the environmentally preferred alternative, an overview of public and agency involvement in the decision-making process, and an attached determination of nonimpairment of
park resources and values for the preferred alternative.
