Study and Finding of No Signifcant Impact for Extension of the North Country National Scenic Trail to Connect with the Appalachian Trail in Vermont

This is the signed, completed Finding of No Significant Impact and Associated Planning document to meet requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act for a Proposal to extend the North Country National Scenic Trail approximately 40 miles from the New York-Vermont Border to the Appalachian National Scenic Trail in Vermont. The National Park Service Midwest Regional Director signed this document on December 16, 2013. The actual extension of the North Country Trail will require an amendment to the National Trail System Act, to change the eastern terminus of the North Country Trail.
