2013-08 Public Scoping Newsletter


The NPS is pleased to announce the initiation of the public scoping process for developing the joint Invasive Plant Management Plan/Environmental Assessment (IPMP/EA) for Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and Redwood National Park. This public scoping newsletter provides project background information and timeline, describes preliminary alternatives, and presents the locations, dates, and times of the public scoping meetings.

Interested individuals, organizations, and agencies are encouraged to attend a public scoping meeting and provide comments regarding the scope of issues to be addressed in the EA. Comments can also be submitted online. The NPS will accept comments until October 1, 2013.

To submit a comment on the project, click the "Comment on Document" button to enter and submit your comments. You can also send written comments to either of the parks at the addresses displayed below.
