Wetlands Statement of Findings, draft

The GMP preferred alternative that was ultimately selected for implementation included designation of approximately 130 miles of primary off-road vehicle (ORV) trails in the Addition. Many of the trails will be located in wetlands, and portions will require stabilization with rock fill in order to sustain ORV use. The draft Wetlands Statement of Findings documents the measures taken by the NPS to avoid wetlands, minimize unavoidable wetland impacts, and compensate for those impacts in connection with trail stabilization.
