Public Scoping

Public scoping is the first step to involve the public in the Environmental Assessment process. NPS uses your comments to ensure that it is considering all of the possible alternatives for the management of the resource. The purpose of the public scoping comment period is to provide the public with an opportunity to comment on the development of the proposed repairs and connectivity improvements of the Civil War Defenses of Washington Hiker/Mountain Biker Trail.
