2010 11Nov 15 - FEIS Biological Opinion

Superintendent Mike Murray announced today that the National Park Service (NPS) has received the US Fish & Wildlife Service's Raleigh Field Office biological opinion on the final Off-Road Vehicle Management Plan (final plan/EIS) for Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The biological opinion is provided in accordance with section 7(a)(2) of the Endangered Species Act of 1973 and is the Fish & Wildlife Service's stated opinion as to whether or not the final plan/EIS will impact the continued existence of listed species.
