Draft GMP/EIS, August 2010
The GMP presents four management alternatives, including the National Park Service and Oglala Sioux Tribe preferred alternative for resource protection, visitor use and experience, and site operations at the South Unit for the next 15-20 years. This draft plan is the culmination of an extensive team effort that included discussions with members of the general public and federal, state, and local officials through newsletters, public meetings, government consultation, and other means.
