Reconstructing an Evolutionary History of Sea Oats using a Phylogeographic Approach

This researcher will be collecting one centimeter square patch of sea Oats Leaves for DNA analysis. The purpose of this collection is to investigate the evolutionary history of this coastal dune plant. This particular species is a species of concern for many states but is not yet federally listed as endangered or threatened by the National Fish and Wildlife Service.
