2010 03Mar 24 - Announcement of Public Meetings on Off-Road Vehicle Management Plan/Draft Environmental Impact Statement

Superintendent Mike Murray announced the public meeting schedule to provide opportunities for public comment on the draft environmental impact statement/Off-Road Vehicle Management Plan for Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The Plan/EIS will guide the management of ORV use at America's first national seashore for the next 10 to 15 years. Concurrent with the development of the Plan/EIS, the National Park Service (NPS) is also developing an ORV regulation for the Seashore.
