General Management Plan/EA - Febr. 2010

This General Management Plan/ Environmental Assessment describes the general approach the National Park Service (NPS) will follow in managing this national monument over the next 15 to 20 years.

Three alternatives for the future management and use of Aztec Ruins are presented and evaluated to determine the best management approach. One of the alternatives is identified as the NPS Preferred Alternative, the management strategy the National Park Service intends to implement. If approved, it would establish the framework for more detailed plans and decisions to come. In accordance with regulations and policies, the potential environmental consequences of all alternatives have been assessed and documented within this plan.
