Record of Decision for the 2008 Final GMP/EIS for San Juan Island NHP

The Department of the Interior, National Park Service, has prepared this Record of Decision (ROD) for the Final General Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement for San Juan Island National Historical Park, Washington. This ROD includes a statement of the decision made, synopses of other alternatives considered, the basis for the decision, a description of the environmentally preferred alternative, a discusssion of impairment of resources or values, a listing of measures to minimize environmental harm, and an overview of public involvement in the decision-making process.
