Categorical Exclusion for Upgrade Round Spring WWTP

The existing wastewater treatment plant at Round Spring is not working at capacity. Based on the recommendation of an engineering consultant upgrades and repairs are needed to correct structural deficiencies. Based on the engineer's study the park proposes to address the following significant items: 1) Removal and replacement of existing laboratory building. 2) Removal and replacement of existing raw waste pump station. 3) Construction of new blower building currently housed in laboratory building. 4) Repair to existing concrete basins. This includes any minor miscellaneous work to complete project identified in HDR Engineering project design No. 134-074030-004. All proposed rehabilitation and construction will be contained within the existing developed area and outside the 100 year floodplain.
