Dixon- Replace Vault Toilet

Replace existing vault toilet (bldg. #556). Remove block/concrete structure, including failed Romtec ABS plastic vault. Prepare site and install manufactured vault toilet in same footprint, see attached pictures of existing unit. After installation, a 6" sidewalk will be constructed on 3 sides with adjacent ADA access and parking. All site work will be performed by NPS work crews. See attached proposed location pictures and example of a CXT Gunnison model vault toilet. The new structure will be raised one foot in elevation higher than the current structure. All finish grading will be done to blend into the adjacent terrain to create a natural appearing topography. Exposed soils will be reseeded using a grass seed mix as specified by the landscape architect. No existing tree canopy will be removed.
