Greenehaven Wastewater System Improvement Project
The Greenehaven WWTP has insufficient capacity to handle current wastewater loads and is proposing to tie into the existing NPS line that transports raw sewage from the Wahweap Marina area of Glen Canyon NRA to the City of Page WWTP. This environmental assessment evaluates two alternatives: a No-Action Alternative and a Proposed Action Alternative. The No-Action Alternative addresses current and future conditions if no new sewer line is constructed. The Proposed Action Alternative addresses impacts from the construction of a 6-inch high-density polyethylene sewer line that would cross National Park Service lands in order to tie into a current NPS managed sewage line serving the Recreation Area's Wahweap Marina.
