Sewage Lagoon Expansion
Walnut Canyon National Monument
The purpose of the proposed expansion of the sewage lagoon is to handle and process sewage effluent produced by the monument's current and reasonably foreseeable future visitors and employees. The expansion is based on review and analysis of current effluent flows, visitor use and weather factors, including ice cover estimates.
