White House Visitor Screening Facility - Finding of No Significant Impact and Decision Document

The National Park Service, in cooperation with the National Capital Planning Commission and in coordination with the United States Secret Service (USSS), prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) consistent with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) (42 United States Code [USC]. 4321 et seq.), the Department of the Interior (DOI) NEPA regulations (43 Code of Federal Regulations [CFR] Part 46), and the 2026 DOI Handbook of NEPA Implementing Procedures (516 Departmental Manual [DM] 1 Handbook). This Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) documents the NPSs determination that the White House Visitor Screening Facility in Washington, D.C. (the selected action) will not result in significant environmental impacts.
