U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Everglades Harbor and Channel Maintenance Dredging Project


In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Everglades Harbor and Channel Maintenance Dredging Project environmental assessment considers alternatives, including a no-action alternative, and environmental impacts. Based on the analysis presented in the EA, which was available for public review from March 10, 2025 to April 9, 2025 and after completing wildlife, fisheries, cultural, and Tribal consultation and public comments, the National Park Service agrees with the USACE's selection of Alternative 3. The NPS FONSI establishes that, based on the USACE EA, there would be no significant impact on the environment as a result of the selected action.
