Update on the Disposition of the McGlashan-Nickerson House

NPS is initiating consultation to resolve adverse effects associated with the demolition of the McGlashan-Nickerson House. The original Programmatic Agreement (PA) between the NPS, the Maine Historic Preservation Commission, and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation has expired and cannot be amended. Negotiations with all prospective qualified lessees were unsuccessful. Per that original PA, the NPS will move forward with demolition of the house.
