Long Bridge Project: Combined Final Environmental Impact Statement/Record of Decision and Final Section 4(f) Evaluation

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), in cooperation with the National Park Service (NPS) prepared a Combined Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and Record of Decision (ROD) for the Long Bridge Project (the Project) to meet the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 (42 USC 4321), the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) Implementing Regulations for NEPA, (40 CFR Part 1500-1508), the FRA Procedures for Considering Environmental Impacts (64 FR 28545), and Efficient Environmental Reviews for Project Decisionmaking (23 USC 139). In addition, FRA prepared a Section 4(f) Evaluation to comply with Section 4(f) of the United States Department of Transportation Act of 1966 (49 USC 303).
