Raise and Rehabilitate Seawalls Environmental Assessment


The National Park Service is pleased to share for public comment the Raise and Rehabilitate Seawalls Environmental Assessment (EA). This EA analyzes three alternatives on how best to address future flooding and storm impacts to the seawalls and surrounding areas by raising, replacing, and rehabilitating the five distinct sections of seawall. The EA also analyzes the impacts to the natural and cultural resources, and visitor experience from each alternative.

The National Park Service will be accepting public comments from June 9 to July 9, 2025.
