Mount Rainier Paradise Wastewater Treatment System Rehab Proposal

The National Park Service (NPS) is proposing to rehabilitate and reconstruct the Paradise wastewater collection system and waste water treatment plant (WWTP) at Mount Rainier National Park to support sustainable visitor services and accommodate growth in park visitation. A virtual open house is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30 to provide information about the proposed project and to answer questions. The NPS is seeking public input and questions to help inform the next stage of the project design and evaluation process. Comments will be accepted from April 16 - May 15, 2025.
