CUVA 224822 Draft Wetland/Floodplain Statement of Findings - Fitzwater
The Wetlands Statement of Findings (SOF) analyzes the proposed action for bank stabilization at the Fitzwater site along the Cuyahoga River to protect the Towpath Trail. The Wetland SOF includes the existing conditions of the site, the proposed work for stabilization, and wetland compensation.
The Floodplain SOF quantifies the flood hazards associated with riverbank stabilization at the Fitzwater site. The Floodplain SOF presents the rationale for the development of the proposed project within the regulatory floodplain of the Cuyahoga River, documents the anticipated negative impacts of these improvements on human health/life, capital investment, and floodplain functions and values, and presents mitigations to these impacts.
