Finding of No Significant Impact - Restore Asan Springs Water Supply Facility

The National Park Service (NPS) is pleased to announce the release of the Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Restore Asan Springs Water Supply Facility Environmental Assessment. The FONSI was signed by the Regional Director of Interior Regions 8, 9, 10, and 12 on August 29, 2024. This concludes the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process for this project and completes the planning process.

The National Park Service released the Restore Asan Springs Water Supply Facility Environmental Assessment for public comment from March 24 to April 25, 2024. No comments were received. After thorough consideration of the potential for environmental impacts, the NPS determined a full environmental impact statement (EIS) was not needed and has released the plan with an associated Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI).
