Memorial House Museum ADA Ramp at George Washington Birthplace


This proposed project proposes to replace the inoperable accessibility lift at the Memorial House Museum (MHM). The lift is located on the east (river side) of the MHM and is not able to be repaired. GEWA proposes to replace the lift with an accessibility ramp to better facilitate those needing access to the building. Providing safe access to those that require it will become even more important in the coming years as GEWA works towards its exhibit project slated for installation in the MHM.
