Winter 2023-24 Public Engagement Comment Summary Report

The National Park Service (NPS) invited the public to comment on the Colter Bay Legacy planning effort November 13 to January 11, 2024. The primary purpose of public engagement during this early conceptual phase of the planning process was to gather feedback about issues and opportunities that currently exist at Colter Bay and gather public perspective about six high-level planning concepts focused on the core area of Colter Bay.

During the comment period, a total of 253 individual correspondences were received and subdivided into 740 individual comments. The top three comment categories were existing facilities and infrastructure, proposed facilities and infrastructure, and accessibility / circulation / functionality of Colter Bay. The Civic Engagement Comment Summary Report provides a summary of the feedback received.

The NPS has provided this report for informational purposes and is not accepting comments on the report.
