Restore Asan Springs Water Supply Facility Enivronmental Assessment
The National Park Service invited the public to comment on the Guam Waterworks proposals to restore the Asan Springs Water Supply Facility, which is partially on NPS lands in the village of Asan. The NPS released the Restore Asan Springs Water Supply Facility Enivronmental Assessment (EA) for a 30-day public review and comment period. The plan provides guidance for the rehabilitation and replacement of existing components, and installment of new components to collect, treat, and distribute potable water to the village of Asan.
The Environmental Assessment includes the following content:
- Chapter 1: Purpose and Need, including an introduction to the project
- Chapter 2: Alternatives
- Chapter 3: Existing Environment and Environmental Consequences
- Chapter 4: Consultation and Coordination
- Chapter 5: List of Preparers
- Chapter 6: References
