Laurel Falls Trail Management Plan Environmental Assessment

Great Smoky Mountains National Park announces the release and public comment period for the Laurel Falls Trail Management Plan Environmental Assessment (EA) in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act and National Historic Preservation Act. The public comment period for the EA will begin May 3, 2023 and conclude June 2, 2023. You are encouraged to review the EA provided in the link below and provide comments on the proposed action and impact analysis.
