General Management Plan Preliminary Concepts Newsletter


The National Park Service is requesting input on preliminary concepts for the general management plan for Reconstruction Era National Historical Park. This newsletter presents preliminary desired future conditions for the park and its surrounding environment, as well as preliminarily management strategies that could help achieve those conditions. It also includes potential criteria considerations for future land acquisitions. These preliminary concepts were developed with the assistance and input of the park's partners.

As you review the preliminary management concepts in this newsletter, please think about how you would like the National Park Service to manage the park. Consider sharing your feedback on the questions below. Thank you for your interest in the future of your national park.
