Compliance Complete

The proposed Ahwahnee Comprehensive Management Plan Implementation: Emergency Presidential Suite Roof Deck Repair and Rehab (93247) project as described, meets the terms and conditions of the 2011 Ahwahnee Hotel Comprehensive Rehabilitation Plan (27563) per the National Environmental Policy Act. This project is categorically exempt under the NPS NEPA Handbook Action 3.3(C)(3) - Routine maintenance and repairs to non-historic structures, facilities, utilities, grounds, and trails. The project has been documented under the park's PEPC #93247.

Per the National Historic Preservation Act, the park consulted with the State Historic Preservation Office under the standard review process (36 CFR Part 800) for the Ahwahnee Comprehensive Rehabilitation Plan. Per the programmatic agreement developed under this plan, additional consultation with the State Historic Preservation Office was not necessary for this minor phase of implementation. The project did not require review by traditionally associated American Indian tribes and groups.
