The National Park Service and partners are pleased to share the Visitor Use Management Plan for the Virginia Triple Crown Segment of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. The plan may be found by clicking on "Document List" on the left side of the screen. Thank you for providing comments on the draft plan; those comments shaped the final plan!
The plan examines management options to support health and human safety and to enhance the protection of natural, cultural, and scenic resources and values, while providing visitors with opportunities to be inspired through personal connections with those resources.
The National Park Service and partners are appreciative of the time and consideration the public has given this planning process and feel fortunate to have passionate outdoor recreation and environmental stewards in our community who are engaged in this planning effort.
