The National Park Service has approved a general management plan and Valles Grande District development concept plan for Valles Caldera National Preserve.
The decision document, in the form of a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), was signed by Herbert Frost, the NPS Intermountain Regional Director, on August 5, 2026.
