Public input is very important to the compliance process and to Park Managers of Shenandoah National Park. The public had several opportunities to comment on the Old Rag Parking Lot project.

On June 18, 2009 the Regional Director of the Northeast Reagion, National Park Service, signed the Finding of No Significant Impact on this project. Official notifications of this action will be published in local newspapers shortly.
