Step 1. Foundation and Problem Analysis (current stage) - establish purpose and need, identify issues, develop project objectives, review data and previous studies, explore desired conditions, engage public.
Step 2. Explore Solutions - explore viable concepts and strategies, assemble concepts and strategies, determine relevant indicators and thresholds, engage subject matter experts. *
Step 3. Decision-making - confirm strategies, develop draft plan, public and stakeholder review, evaluate compliance and consultation needs, complete consultation and compliance, finalize plan.
The public engagement undertaken in Step 1 will support the development of a draft plan. The public will also have the opportunity to comment on the draft Stewardship Plan before the completion of Step 3.
