The Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) documenting the selection of the preferred alternative was signed by the Acting Director of the Intermountain Region on May 27, 2026.
Under the selected alternative, the National Park Service (NPS) will perform improvements to provide a more reliable water system to meet water supply needs at the North Rim and in the inner canyon corridor from Supai Tunnel to Cottonwood Campground.
