The NPS is extending the public scoping period for the beach vehicle environmental assessment. Public comments will now be accepted through September 29th, 2010. Additionally, the NPS will hold a public scoping meeting. The public scoping meeting will be held at the Harte Research Institute The NPS will continue to accept comments via the PEPC website and written comments submitted to the Superintendent. Comments will also be accepted at the public scoping meeting.
 
Description:
Due to the level of public interest the National Park Service will be hosting a public scoping meeting to gather potential alternative for examination in the Beach Vehicle EA process. Please join us at the Harte Research Institute on September 14, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The comment period has been extended until September 29, 2010.
