Big Cypress National Preserve has begun planning to better address hydrologic restoration in the Preserve. In mid-June 2021 the park will be sharing the purpose and need for planning, as well as preliminary alternatives that describe different ways of protecting the natural and cultural resources of the Preserve while restoring hydrology, and requesting public comment on them.
