Honouliuli Gulch and Associated Sites Draft Special Resource Study And Environmental Assessment

The Honouliuli Gulch and Associated Sites Draft Special Resource Study and Environmental Assessment evaluates the Honouliuli Internment Camp and associated World War II internment sites in Hawai'i for national significance, suitability, and feasibility for inclusion in the National Park System. Congress authorized this study in 2009, and the public was invited in 2011 to provide input. With this release of the draft study report, the public is again asked to share their thoughts with the NPS.

This study will provide information to aid Congress, the U.S. Department of Interior, and the National Park Service in determining whether designation of a unit of the national park system is desirable and appropriate.
